The 1976 Thomas Crown Affair is on BBC2 at the moment, reminding me that in the remake/homage with Pearce Brosnan and Rene Russo Thomas did not steal the 'money', a la Steve McQueen, but stole the Monet. Witty? I think the remake was really quite good.
